Embrace your shape:
Alot of US women do not embrace our natural shape. No matter what shape you are, you should be confident and wear clothes that will compliment your body type. Every woman should look good no matter what shape, but it is the clothes that you wear that will make people see that about you.
What frame ARE YOU??!!!
A-frame
No matter how curvy Beyonce is, she does have an A-shape frame not an hour glass (or X, will explain later).
She is small at the top and more full at the bottom. Her waist is slender and her shoulders are narrow.
Key items that would look great on an A-frame.....
- Boat neck and off-the shoulder shirts
- Dark colors at the bottom, more of bright or light colors at the top
- Low rise pants
- A line skirts will compliment the bottom area because of the shape
- Highlight the upper body
Things to avoid:
- Tight shirts
- Side pocket pants
- Pleated and tapered pants

V-Frame
Here I use Raven Symone. This is a pic of her before she lost weight. People who have V-frames have wide shoulders, large bust, and narrow hips.
Key items that would look great on a v-frame...
- Bright colored bottoms to make the bottom look a little more full
- Pleated skirts and pants
- Full & wide leg pants

- V-neck and scoop neck shirts
- Drop waist dresses
- Highlight the legs
Things to avoid...
- Boat neck and horizontal strips
- Prints and patterns
- SHOULDER PADS

H-Frame
Here is a photo of super model Heidi Klum. This is the standard shape to be a high fashion model NOT an hour glass shape. Shoulders, waist, and hips are about the same width. NO CURVES.
Key items that would be great for the h-frame shape.....
- Belts
- Wrap tops & dresses to form a shape
- Corset tops
- drawstring pants
- Ruffle or curve sleeves
- Tops & jackets with princess seams
- Highlight the arms & legs
Things to avoid:
- Low rise pants
- Rectangular silhouette sleeveless tops
- Loose fitting dresses
- Wide tapel jackets
